Burlington Health Workers support the Global #ClimateStrike

The Vermont Climate and Health Alliance is encouraging health professionals to join the Global Climate Strike.

Kids will be leading rallies across the state. You'll be glad you joined them.

The main event will be in Burlington - City Hall  12-2PM

Please wear your white coat or scrubs. We need to send the message that medical professionals are highly concerned. If you haven't already, start to learn more by heading to the CDC website on Climate and Health.

Whether you can make it on the 20th or not, you can write a letter or an e-mail to Governor Scott, Senate Pro Tem Ashe and Speaker Johnson.

The message being this -- "Scientists are saying we have about 12 years to address climate change, and to protect our kids and our communities. Vermont's greenhouse gas emissions have risen by 16% since 1990. It is time to for Vermont to start passing legislation commensurate to the challenge."

We hope to see you there!
