New York Nurses and Health Workers support the Global #ClimateStrike

Nursing students and interested nurses: meet us there!

Help us spread the word far and wide about this critical moment for the climate movement!

On September 20, 2019, Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments (AHNE) will be joining a worldwide week of action starting with an international strike. In New York City, thousands of people will join a student youth-led call for climate action and strike in solidarity with millions of people around the world to demand a safe and survivable future. The march will start in Foley Square at noon and end with a rally in Battery Park.

More information about the exact meeting spot (an hour prior to start) will posted on the day of the event.  Please join us for the NYC Climate Strike led by Greta Thunburg on the eve of the UN Climate Summit to support the call for action to address the climate crisis and support efforts for protecting environmental and human health.

If you like, please make signs, bring your school banner, and wear your scrubs or lab coats
